Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport

   • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet our driver-guide holding a billboard with your name for easy recognition. 
   • He will greet and introduce himself and provide a brief overview of Tanzania before driving you to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay, in preparation for the next day's safari.

2. Day 2: Serengeti National Park

   • Early morning after breakfast, meet your guide and drive to Serengeti National Park, renowned as the endless plain. 
   • Here, predators such as lions and leopards have ample land space for hunting, offering you a chance to spot animal hunts.

   The Serengeti is Tanzania's and Africa's most famous national park, awarded Africa's most visited national park in 2019 and 2020.

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast in the park, you might see all of the Big Five: leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhino, along with other animals like warthogs, giraffes, wildebeests, and various bird species. 
   • Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Serengeti's vast plains before returning to your accommodation to relax overnight.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

   • After breakfast, meet your driver guide to begin the drive ascending to the Ngorongoro Crater, famously called the "hole of God." It features a height of more than 600 meters and a diameter of 20 km, covering a total area of 250 km². 
   • Within the crater, you might see the highly vulnerable rhinos and possibly the Big Five. 
   • After touring the crater, you will head to Tarangire for dinner and overnight stay at a lodge.

5. Day 5: Tarangire National Park

   • The lodge is located just five minutes' drive from the park's entry gate. 
   • After breakfast, start a safari towards Tarangire National Park, known as the Palace of Elephants. 
   • Expect to see family herds of elephants and various bird species. The park has large baobab trees that serve as scratching posts for elephants.

6. Day 6: Journey to Zanzibar

   • After breakfast, continue your journey to Zanzibar. During the dry season, the Tarangire River attracts prey, making it easier for predators to hunt, providing excellent photo opportunities. 
   • Enjoy a full day game drive, then head to Arusha Airport to fly to Zanzibar. 
   • Upon arrival, a Zanzibar guide will provide a brief about the island's culture, norms, and traditions before transferring you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

7. Day 7: Visit Prison Island

   • After breakfast, meet our guide for a tour of the clove plantations with a specialized spice guide, learning about the farm's preparation and harvest process. 
   • Visit Prison Island, used by Arabs during the slave period to house slaves before transporting them to other regions; interact with giant tortoises. 
   • After lunch, take a city tour around Zanzibar's beaches, markets, and historic sites.

8. Day 8: Experience Zanzibar beaches

   • After breakfast, head to Fumba where you'll take a boat to explore white sand beaches, baobabs, mangroves, and the blue lagoon. 
   • Enjoy snorkeling and interact with marine life if interested. A seafood lunch will follow. 
   • Spend the day experiencing Zanzibar beaches before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

9. Day 9: Return to Kilimanjaro

   • Enjoy the morning at the hotel after breakfast before transferring to the airport.
