Itinerary

1. Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

   • We will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to the airport. Arrive at the Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti around 10:30 - 11:00 am. 
   • You will meet the safari driver guide who will take you on a full-day game drive. The Serengeti is particularly known for its abundance of predators and having the largest concentration of wildebeests and zebras in the whole country.
   • Later, you will go to the picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the animals while having a hot lunch. Small monkeys and baboons may try to steal your lunch, but there’s nothing to worry about.
   • After lunch, continue with the game drive while heading to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay at you accommodation.

2. Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

   • After an early breakfast at around 6:30 am, you will embark on an early game drive in search of the Big Five. 
   • You’ll continue until the afternoon when you return to the lodge for a hot lunch. 
   • We will then proceed with the game drive while exiting the Serengeti and heading to the Ngorongoro Crater rim.
   • Upon arrival, we will settle in at the Lodge, where we will spend the night on a full-board basis.

3. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Full Game Drive

   • After an early breakfast, we will descend to the crater floor for an incredible morning game drive in search of black rhinos. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most stunning places on Earth, with huge walls surrounding the animals, almost like a Jurassic Park. 
   • In the afternoon, we will stop by a hippo pool for lunch while enjoying the view of the hippos nearby.
   • After lunch, we will continue the game drive. Later, we ascend the crater and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, heading towards Lake Manyara National Park for accommodation and overnight at your accommodation, located at Mto wa Mbu.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park

   • After a hearty breakfast at Jungle Pearl Lodge, embark on an adventurous safari day at Lake Manyara National Park. 
   • Your full-day game drive promises an abundance of diverse vegetation and wildlife, including the renowned tree-climbing lions a rare and remarkable sight in their natural habitat. 
   • Explore the park's scenic landscapes, with opportunities to visit hot springs and experience thrilling treetop walks.
   • Midday brings a tranquil pause as you enjoy a delightful lunch at one of the park's picturesque picnic sites, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.
   • As the day draws to a close, retreat to the comfortable accommodation, where you can unwind and reflect on the day's unforgettable encounters with Tanzania's natural wonders.

5. Day 5: Tarangire Game Drive then Zanzibar

   • After breakfast, we will begin with a game drive across a rich vista of the endless golden savannah surrounding the Tarangire River. 
   • The river is a vital source of water for the region's animals during the dry season and a setting for some riveting game viewing.
   • The river, encrusted with acacia and baobab trees, serves as a waterhole for the park’s large elephant population and other herbivores. 
   • Driving through the park, you’ll also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, Cape buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes. If you're lucky, you might even spot endangered animals such as the greater kudu, the fringe-eared oryx, or the wild dog.
   • We will continue with the game drive until late afternoon when you will exit the park and start driving to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
