Itinerary

1. Day 1: Karera Falls

   • Our experienced guide and a driver will pick you up at the airport, brief you about the trip, and proceed to the southeast of Bujumbura to see the 5 famous Karera Falls in Burundi; we advise you to come with a raincoat and good shoes, just in case weather changes. Karera Falls is a spectacular natural attraction that enchants visitors with its stunning cascades and tranquil ambiance. As you approach the falls, the sound of rushing water fills the air, creating a sense of excitement and anticipation. The falls are composed of several tiers, each showcasing the beauty of cascading water surrounded by vibrant flora and fauna. It's an ideal spot for photography enthusiasts, offering countless opportunities to capture the beauty of nature in all its glory.
   • Later, we go back to the Political capital city of Burundi Gitega to relax and stay overnight. 

2. Day 2: Gishora Drum Sanctuary

   • Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and then go for an exciting Gishora Drum experience. It's an exciting activity worth seeing. It will help you understand the culture of the people of Burundi. The Gishora Drum Sanctuary in Burundi is a cultural hub that preserves the art of ancient drumming rituals and showcases the country's rich musical heritage. The drums were a symbol of the monarchy's political power and were played at important ceremonies like royal enthronements and funerals. The sanctuary was founded in the 19th century by King Mwami Mwezi IV Gisabo Bikata-Bijoga.
   • Later, we will go back to Bujumbura at the airport or at your booked accommodation, and that will be the end of the 2-day trip to Burundi.
