Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival and Arusha National Park

   • Begin your safari with a scenic drive to Arusha National Park, just a short distance from the town of Arusha.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park’s beautiful surroundings before continuing your game drive.

2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast, journey to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant population and picturesque baobab trees. 
   • Once inside the park, embark on a game drive through rolling savannas and woodlands, searching for lions, leopards, and large herds of elephants. 
   • Tarangire is home to over 500 bird species, making it a paradise for bird watchers. 
   • Midday, stop for a picnic lunch by the Tarangire River, a vital water source that draws wildlife year-round. 
   • Continue exploring the park in the afternoon, capturing stunning views of animals gathering around waterholes. 
   • Return to your lodge in the evening to relax and enjoy dinner.

3. Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

   • Spend another full day immersing yourself in the rich wildlife of Tarangire. 
   • Begin with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. 
   • Explore different sections of the park, discovering the varied landscapes, from grasslands to dense woodlands. 
   • Tarangire’s elephant herds are a sight to behold, and you may also spot cheetahs, wildebeests, and graceful antelopes roaming the plains.
   • Break for a lunch amidst the scenic park surroundings before resuming your safari in the afternoon. 
   • Take in the beauty of the African sunset, with chances to spot nocturnal animals emerging.

4. Day 4: Departure

   • After breakfast, savor your final morning in Tarangire before preparing for departure.
