All our guides are current students or graduates of the University of Cambridge, offering an authentic, insider view of student life and the city’s rich history

Important Information for standard tours: The tour takes place outdoors. The standard route may include King’s College Chapel if selected, but no other colleges are part of the tour. Look for your guide wearing a royal blue element, such as a jacket, cap, beanie, scarf, or polo shirt branded with the coat of arms of Alumni Tours.

Tour without scheduled stops except scenic spots; restroom use advised beforehand.

Departure Times: Generally, 10:00, then every hour until 17:00. Reduced frequency over winter.
Duration: 90 minutes without King’s College Chapel entry OR 150 minutes with King’s College Chapel entry.
Meeting Point: The front entrance of King’s College on King’s Parade.

Please arrive 5 minutes early.

This is a 1.5-hour walking tour at a moderate pace, suitable for light activity fitness.

Wheelchair users can be accommodated.

Dress appropriately for potential bad weather and muddy terrain.

No pets allowed in the college premises, except guide dogs.

Delayed arrivals at meeting point or during tour may lead to booking loss, unless due to company fault.

Chapel openings and other details may vary; provide functional contact for updates.

King’s College entry requires a separate ticket, not included in standard admission.

Ensure your contact information is up-to-date and functional within the UK.

Specify in advance the presence of hearing-impaired customers.

Wheelchair users are welcome! Please take care with uneven surfaces, fellow pedestrians and traffic.

Please ensure you arrive on time. Late arrivals will not be eligible for a refund or rebooking.

The tour is of moderate pace. Please stay with the group and remain within sight of the tour guide.

Use the restroom before the tour, as there are no scheduled toilet breaks.

Our tours are conducted in English, but be prepared to hear various accents, as the city is a global educational hub.

You may bring food and drinks, but they are not allowed inside colleges.

In rare cases, tours times and routes are subject to change. Please ensure that the contact information you provide is functional within the UK.

If you wish to visit King's College, please ensure that you select the corresponding option. The term 'King's College option' does not imply automatic inclusion in the standard ticket.

You must check in on time and at the correct meeting point or risk missing the tour and having to purchase new tickets. Traffic and train delays (or cancellations) will not entitle you to reimbursement or rebooking.
