Göreme, Pashabagi, Avanos and Uçhisar Castle
- Meet your tour guide and begin with a visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum, where you can see some of the world's most important Byzantine cave churches. Göreme Open Air Museum is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Your next stop is Pashabagi, also called Monks Valley, because Christian hermits chose to locate hermit cells and churches in these three-headed pinnacles.
- Continue to Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley, with its surreal-looking landscape. Have lunch in Avanos in one of the cave restaurants. Avanos is the town of traditional pottery art, so you will also visit one of the family workshops to learn about pottery and enjoy a kick-wheel pottery demonstration after lunch.
- End the day at Uçhisar Castle, the highest point of Cappadocia.
