Arrive at Selous Game Reserve from Dar es Salaam.
Have lunch at the reserve alongside the lush forest.
Continue to Hippo Camp, adjacent to Selous Game Reserve and located on the bank of the Rufiji River.
Enjoy a sunset cruise on a riverboat while looking for hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
Have an early breakfast at 6:00 a.m., then depart at 6:30 a.m. for a safari in Selous Game Reserve. Enjoy a full-day game drive across the park in a specially modified safari vehicle with a professional guide.
Witness and learn about many animals, including all the great favourites: lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and zebra.
Explore the wonderful scenery of wetlands, dry grasslands, light acacia forest, and higher ground with views of far-off mountains.
Have lunch and rest. Your guide will select a good location to watch animals coming to drink water.
Quietly sit and observe the animals as they come to drink at the riverbank.
Return to the lodge by 6:30 p.m. for sunset and dinner.
Wake up early for a walk through the bush and along the Rufiji riverbank.
Learn about the local environment and the nature of the area.
Have breakfast at the camp, then depart for Dar es Salaam.
