Day 01

Baodingshan and Beishan Dazu Carvings Day Trip

• 09:00 AM: Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Chongqing and a 1.5-hour drive to Baodingshan, also known as Treasure Top Mountain. Take a guided tour of the U-shaped valley to appreciate the combination of art, folkloric customs, and religion from around the 11th century.
• 12:00 PM: After your tour, enjoy a Chinese-style lunch (optional).
• 13:30 PM: Take a 20-minute drive to Beishan, also known as Northern Mountain. Join a guided tour along a corridor that accommodates reliefs and statues of religious figures and scriptures dated to the 9th and 10th centuries. See traces of Hinduism's influence on Chinese Buddhism.
• 15:00 PM: Drive back to Chongqing and arrive at your hotel by 17:30 PM.
