We will start in Reykjavik and then drive to the ferry, which takes about 1.5 hours.
This short ferry trip of about 40 minutes is very scenic, with views of the ocean and volcanic islands. You may see many birds and even whales.
We will visit Herjolfstown, where we can see how the first Vikings lived here.
Elephant Rock is a unique basalt geological rock formation thought to have been formed during one of the many volcanic eruptions of Mt. Eldfell over the last 15,000 years.
Then we will move to the puffins' home. More than 2 million birds come to the Westman Islands during the summer season.
And of course, we will visit Eldfell, the volcano that totally changed life on the island.
