Lake Chala Hike and Wildlife Experience

Your friendly guide will arrive at your accommodation with your tasty packed lunch, then escort you to your transport for the drive to Lake Chala Safari Camp.
Along the way, you will pass through everyday life in Moshi before joining the freeway for a relaxing and comfortable journey of a little over an hour. Lake Chala Safari Camp is a beautiful private game reserve overlooking Lake Chala.
Once you arrive, your guide will lead you down to the lakeside through vivid green flora, with the blue lake stretching out ahead. The ground becomes quite rocky near the lake, so sturdy footwear is essential. This is a stunning area for hikers and birdwatchers, and in season, you may be lucky enough to spot elephants gathering at a distant waterhole.
