Day 01

Materuni Waterfall Hike and Coffee Experience

• You will meet the English-speaking village guide, who will take you for a walk around the village.
• After a short briefing, he will guide you on a 40-minute hike to the waterfalls. This magical green environment, with tropical trees, leads to the impressive 80-meter-high waterfall.
• Here, you can take a moment to relax and swim, so please bring your swimsuit.
• After you decide to leave this breathtaking place behind, you will continue hiking back to the village.
• The local community will demonstrate the process of making Arabica coffee. It is then time to taste it and warm up again. If you want, you can also take some coffee beans with you.

• Materuni Village is located 15 km north of Moshi. It is the last village before Kilimanjaro National Park. Before you reach the village, you will drive slowly through banana farms and local rural villages. The people are very warm and welcoming, often inviting you into their local Materuni home.
