Maximum age is 65 years old on a case-by-case basis. Guests aged 50 and above must be physically fit and may be required to sign an additional health waiver. This adventure is family-friendly and ideal for teens, couples, and groups of friends. Our guides will assess each guest's readiness during orientation to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.
Physical fitness and swimming ability: Participants must be physically fit, active, and comfortable with moderate outdoor activity. The tour includes trekking through jungle trails, climbing and scrambling over rocks, jumping from natural ledges, and swimming through canyon waters. Basic swimming skills are recommended but not required. Life vests are provided to ensure safety for all participants. Even non-swimmers can join - simply follow your guide's instructions and keep your vest secured at all times.
Health conditions and restrictions: This tour is not advisable for guests with heart ailments or hypertension, asthma, epilepsy, or vertigo, recent major surgery or injuries, back, knee, or joint problems, pregnancy, or an extreme fear of heights or water. Activity level is moderate to challenging. Expect hiking through jungle trails, climbing and balancing on rocks, jumping into natural pools, and sliding down smooth stone cascades. Adventure is at your own pace - every thrill is optional.
Waiver and registration requirements: Before the adventure begins, all guests must sign the official canyoneering waiver form upon arrival, present a valid government ID for registration, and attend the mandatory safety briefing led by certified guides. No participant may begin without completing registration.
What to expect during the tour: Prepare to get fully wet from head to toe, walk, trek, and climb through rocks and streams, jump off cliffs into turquoise waters, slide down natural waterfalls, and capture stunning photos and GoPro moments. Expect laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable energy all day long.
Weather and seasonal considerations: Canyoneering runs year-round but is always subject to weather and river conditions. Tours may be rescheduled, delayed, or canceled in case of heavy rain or flash floods, thunderstorms, or unsafe water levels. We monitor weather alerts closely with the Municipality of Badian. If a cancellation occurs, rebooking or refund options will be provided.
Group size and guide ratio: Minimum participants: 2 persons. Maximum participants: 10 persons. Guide-to-guest ratio: 1 certified guide per 3 guests. Small group sizes allow us to focus on your safety, provide personal attention, and make the adventure more enjoyable.
Additional pre-booking reminders: Advance booking is required at least 1-2 days before your preferred date. Pick-up time is 4:00 AM from Cebu City or Mactan. Travel time is approximately 3 hours each way. ID and payment confirmation are required upon registration. Children below 18 must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
