Day 01

Hike to Luboten Peak from Strazhë Village

Luboten Peak one-day hiking itinerary, starting from Restoran Bullica in Strazhe Village.

The round-trip distance is 9-11 km, depending on the route, with an elevation gain of 1,000 meters. The hike takes approximately 6-8 hours, including breaks.

  • 06:30 - 07:00: Arrive at Restoran Bullica, Strazhe Village. Meet the group and prepare for the hike.
  • 07:00 - 07:30: Begin the hike from Strazhe Village, following the marked trail that ascends through forested paths.
  • 09:00 - 09:30: Reach alpine meadows, where the forest opens into pastures with stunning views of the surrounding hills. Rest for hydration and enjoy the scenery.
  • 10:30 - 11:30: Continue with a steeper ascent to Luboten Peak, including rocky and challenging sections. A slow, steady pace is recommended.
  • 12:00: Reach the summit of Luboten Peak. Enjoy panoramic views of the Sharr Mountains, Polog Valley, and the Bjeshkët e Nemuna range. Have lunch or snacks while taking in the scenery.
  • 12:30 - 13:00: Begin the descent, following the same route down. Careful footing is needed on the steep, rocky sections.
  • 15:00 - 16:00: Arrive back at Restoran Bullica. Relax and celebrate the successful hike before heading home.
