The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Arusha

  • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a Bavuma Wild-Quest driver and transferred to your hotel.
  • The rest of the day is at your leisure - rest in your room, relax in the manicured gardens, enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, or explore Arusha and the surrounding areas through one of our day tours. The choice is yours.
  • Get ready, as your safari adventure begins tomorrow morning!

You will stay overnight at Njiro Legacy Arusha.

Day 02

Tarangire National Park Game Drive

  • After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch.
  • Herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless riverbed for underground streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland gather around the shrinking lagoons. This national park shelters migrants during the dry season and is a welcoming home to elephants.
  • Dinner and overnight stay will be at Eileen's Trees Inn.

Day 03

Journey to Serengeti and Evening Safari

  • After an early breakfast, your experienced driver-guide will pick you up from the camp and begin the journey towards Serengeti National Park, one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world. As you set out, you will be captivated by the vast open plains that seem to stretch endlessly beneath the stunning African skies.
  • On arrival, you will embark on a thrilling four-hour game drive, where you will have the opportunity to witness the Serengeti's abundant wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The park is also known for its incredible bird-life and the chance to spot the Big Five.
  • After a short break in the afternoon, you will continue with a late-evening game drive, an excellent time to witness predators on the prowl as the sun sets over the savannah. The changing light of the late afternoon offers a magical backdrop to your wildlife experience.
  • Following your exciting day of exploration, you will return to Serengeti Wildebeest for a relaxing dinner under the stars.
  • Here, you can unwind and reflect on the day's adventures before retiring for the night, surrounded by the natural sounds of the Serengeti.

Day 04

Serengeti to Ngorongoro via En-route Game Drive

  • Get up early in the morning for a game drive in Serengeti National Park, where you may see wildebeest, lion, elephant, leopard, impala, gazelle, cheetah, and possibly the wildebeest migration.
  • Enjoy brunch and pack your luggage before proceeding to Ngorongoro.
  • You will enjoy an en-route game drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro, arriving late in the evening.
  • Arrive at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, located on the crater rim, for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05

Ngorongoro Highlands Transfer and Departure

  • After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by our professional guide for your transfer and a final game drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, you will have the chance to take in the breathtaking landscapes, dotted with wildlife and rolling hills.
  • As part of this transfer, you will also have the option to stop for a unique cultural experience at a Maasai Boma, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of the Maasai people. Here, you will witness their daily life, traditional dances, and learn about the diverse cultures of Tanzania.
  • After this enriching experience, you will continue your journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), arriving in time for your flight.
