Day 01

Arrival in Maun

Your guide will meet you at Maun International Airport and transfer you to the lodge.
Take time to relax after your long flight. Optional scenic flights in the afternoon offer a wide aerial view of the mighty Okavango Delta and can be arranged on request.

Day 02

Maun to the Okavango Delta

Start early at 07:30 am.
The route takes you through traditional villages before reaching the southern tip of the Okavango Delta, where you meet local polers and guides who will take you deep into the Delta. You will spend the night exploring this wonderful place.
Your activities here include a bushwalk.

Day 03

Okavango Delta to Moremi Game Reserve

After breakfast, pack up and slowly cruise along the fringes of the Okavango Delta until you reach the mokoro station, where the safari vehicle will be waiting to take you towards Moremi Game Reserve.
Enjoy a scenic drive up to South Gate, where you enter Moremi Game Reserve. The route passes through ever-changing landscapes of woodland, floodplains, lagoons, and rivers in Moremi before arriving at your campsite.

Game Drives in Moremi

Morning and afternoon game drives reveal a large variety of wildlife in Moremi.
Moremi is unequalled in scenic beauty and hosts an excellent quantity and variety of birds, animals, and plants.

Moremi to Maun

After a delicious breakfast, pack up and combine your game drive with a transfer back to Maun, where your safari ends.

The best time to visit depends on the experience you are looking for and your tolerance for varying weather conditions.
Autumn - March, April, and May - is marked by moderate temperatures of 15-30 degrees, making it a lovely time to visit Botswana, with the land lush and green after the summer rains.
Winter months - June, July, and August - are marked by cloudless days and mild temperatures, with averages of 5-27 degrees.
Spring months - late August through September - are a wonderful time to visit Botswana. The timing, between the cold of winter and the intense heat before the rains, ensures temperatures of 15-31 degrees. It heats up towards the end of September and into October, when highs can rise above 40 degrees. Game viewing is excellent due to the lack of thick vegetation, and the water holes are drying up.
Summer months - November, early December through March - enjoy temperatures averaging 16-35 degrees. These months include the rainy season, generally in January and February, when you may encounter brief but heavy rain and thunderstorms.

The safari takes you into the famous Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve, exploring the wildlife-rich areas of Xini or Xakanaka, depending on availability.
