Explore Mikumi National Park on a Full-Day Trip
- Early Morning Flight: Depart from Zanzibar early in the morning (around 6:00 AM) on a scheduled flight to Mikumi National Park.
- Upon arrival at the Mikumi airstrip (around 7:00 AM), you’ll be met by your safari guide.
- Transfer to the Park: Transfer from the airstrip to the park entrance, which takes about 5 minutes.
- Mid-morning: Go on a game drive. Begin your game drive shortly after entering the park. Look for wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. The park is home to a diverse range of animals, and morning is a great time to see them in action.
- Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.
- Afternoon: More wildlife viewing. Continue your game drive after lunch, exploring different areas of the park. Take advantage of the guide’s knowledge to learn about the wildlife and flora in the area.
- Optional Activities: Transfer to the Airstrip.
- Leave the park in the late afternoon (around 4:00 PM) to head back to the Airstrip.
- Fly back to Zanzibar: Take a scheduled flight back to Zanzibar (around 4:30 PM), arriving in time for dinner or other evening activities.
