Explore Arusha National Park
Morning Departure:
- Depart from Arusha in the morning, around 7:00–8:00 AM to maximize your time in the park.
- Enjoy a scenic drive with views of Mount Meru and local villages.
Arrive at Arusha National Park:
- Arrive at the park entrance and pay the entrance fee (see fees below).
- Meet your guide, if you’ve booked a guided tour.
Game Drive:
- Embark on a game drive to explore the park's diverse ecosystems, including savannah, forests, and wetlands.
- Look out for animals like giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and various monkey species (including the blue monkey and the black-and-white colobus).
Visit Momella Lakes:
- Explore the scenic Momella Lakes, known for their varied colors and birdlife, including flamingos and other waterfowl.
- This area is also great for photography and enjoying the natural beauty.
Lunch:
- Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park at a designated area. Some tours may provide lunch, or you can bring your own.
Optional Activities:
- After lunch, you can opt for a guided walking safari to experience the park up close.
- Alternatively, visit the Ngurdoto Crater, which offers stunning views and is home to various wildlife.
