Explore Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas
Visit the viewing platform overlooking the entire Reloncaví Sound and the city of Puerto Montt.
Arrive in the downtown area, along the waterfront, and see the monument to the first German settlers.
Reach the main square and visit the Redwood (Alerce) Cathedral, built in 1856.
Explore the city beach at Pelluco, then continue to Angelmó on the other side of the city, where the souvenir and seafood markets are located.
After reaching the Pan-American Highway, head to the small town of Puerto Varas on the shore of Lake Llanquihue, where you will see its major tourist attractions: the Church of Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Philippi Park, the main square, and the handicraft market.
