Himeji Castle's Main Keep

Himeji Castle, also named as the White Heron Castle because of its color, is a Japanese castle. It dates from medieval times and is one of only 12 Japanese castles to have been perfectly preserved. UNESCO has also designated this castle as a world heritage site. That's wonderful! And now, it offers himself to our visits.

Himeji Castle's West Wing

The west wing of the castle constitutes the second part of the visit. We discover the apartments of the samurai, the ladies in wedding, then Princess Sen, and their way of life is explained to us.
