The itinerary

Day 01

After meeting the guests heading to Gala State Historical Ethnographic Reserve. This is a complex of museums in Baku, Azerbaijan. Inside there are three different types of museums: open air Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography, Castle Museum and the Museum of Antiques. The museum is 1.5 ha in area and has rock paintings, pottery, household items, jewelry, weapons and coins belong to the ancient times of Azerbaijan. In this museum, there are more than 2,000 different archaeological and architectural monuments – mounds, seats of ancient settlements, burial places dating back to thousands of years ago. Driving distance from the city to Gala Museum Complex is 30 minutes way. Guests will spend 1 hour and 30 minutes here, visit 3 main sightseeingsTour continues to Ateshgah-Fire Temple. The Ateshgah of Baku often called the "Fire Temple of Baku", is a castle-like religious temple and based on Iranian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu, Sikh, and Zoroastrian place of worship. This Fire Temple was a pilgrimage and philosophical center of Zoroastrians from Northwestern Indian subcontinent, who were involved in trade with the Caspian area via the famous "Grand Trunk Road". The four holy elements of their belief were: ateshi (fire), badi (air), abi (water), and heki (earth). The temple ceased to be a place of worship after 1883 with the installation of petroleum plants (industry) at Surakhany. The complex was turned into a museum in 1975. Driving distance from the Gala Museum Complex to Ateshgah is 30 minutes way. Guests will spend at least 60 minutes hereThe last planned sightseeing is Yanar Dag- Burning Mountain. Yanardag is located in the village of Mammadli on the Absheron Peninsula, around 27 km from Baku. The main attraction of Yanardag, which literally means “burning mountain”, is a spectacular hill with a constantly burning wall of flames. Flames jet into the air 3 metres (9.8 ft) from a thin, porous sandstone layer. Unlike mud volcanoes, the Yanar Dag flame burns fairly steadily, as it involves a steady seep of gas from the subsurface. Driving distance from Ateshgah is 40-50 minutes way. Guests will spend 30 minutes here and we return back to the meeting point which is a 40-minute drive away. General tour duration takes 5 hours together with sightseeing and driving distances
