Day 01

Monkey Park Iwatayama

We will climb this mount together to meet monkeys! They are friendly and we can even pet them.

Sagano District

We will take a small walk through this so beautiful old touristic city where we can take our lunch there and buy some souvenirs.

Tenryuji temple

Tenryuji, Zen Rinzai Buddhist temple, was built in the 14th century and is a piece in the confrontation between the Shogun and the Emperor. Visiting it, we will know better about Japanese history.

Bamboo groove

We will walk through the famous bamboo forest, then park, forest and promenade near Katsura river to arrive to Sagano, old town of Kyoto.

The route
