Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

   • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
   • Transfer to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
   • Meet your guide for a safari briefing.
   • Spend the day at leisure, relaxing and preparing for your adventure.
     Meals Included: None
     Accommodation: Arranged hotel in Moshi or Arusha

2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast, your driver will pick you up for a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.
   • Marvel at giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes as you enter the nature reserve.
   • Enjoy close-up views of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, along with predators like lions.
   • Experience the incredible landscape and wildlife sightings from the open roof of your safari vehicle.
   • Arrive at your lodge inside the park for a restful night.

     Accommodation: Lodge inside Tarangire National Park

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, travel through the cooler highlands toward the southern Serengeti.
   • Reach the vast plains of Serengeti National Park by midday.
   • Enjoy stunning views of savannah, short grass plains, swamps, lakes, and kopjes.
   • Experience an exciting game drive in the Serengeti before heading to your lodge in the park.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • After an early breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you leave the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
   • Experience Maasai culture by visiting traditional Maasai bomas along the way.
   • Reach your lodge at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon.
   • Descend 600 meters into the crater for an exciting game drive among over 25,000 animals, including the Big Five.
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before leaving the crater and returning to Moshi or Arusha.

     Accommodation: None (final night in Moshi/Arusha)

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Moshi

   • After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive.
   • Explore the vast collapsed volcano, home to over 25,000 mammals, including the Big Five.
   • Observe spotted hyenas, rare warthogs, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area.
   • After an extensive game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool.
   • Leave the crater in the late afternoon and drive to Moshi town.
