Day 01

Meet in Arnhem and Battle Introduction

• The pickup point for this 2.5-hour private Battle of Arnhem walk is near Arnhem Central Railway Station, outside in front of McDonald's.
• Your guide will introduce you to the Battle of Arnhem, tailored to your level of knowledge.

Day 02

Walk to Zwarteweg and Key Battle Sites

• Along with your guide, you will walk to Zwarteweg, the Urquhart hideout.
• At many stops along the way, your guide will share stories of what happened at these exact locations, including Utrechtsestraat, Utrechtseweg, ArteZ University, Museum Arnhem, and the former Dt. Elisabeth Hospital.

Day 03

Follow John Frost's Route to the Bridge

• After the stop at Zwarteweg, the tour continues back into the city to John Frost Bridge via the Onderlangs road, in the footsteps of John Frost himself.
• There will also be stops along this road, where your guide will share stories of the brave soldiers who fought and fell during the Battle of Arnhem. Photos taken during the battle will help you get a clear idea of what happened here in September 1944.

Day 04

Tour End at John Frost Bridge

• This tour ends near John Frost Bridge, where your guide will say goodbye.
• You can visit the Airborne at the Bridge museum, which is free of charge, or head into town, just a 5-minute walk away.
• If you wish to return to Arnhem Central Railway Station, it will take about 15 minutes on foot, also through the city centre.
