Day 01

Dushanbe Landmarks and Hissar Fortress

After breakfast, visit one of the biggest national flags in the world, standing 165 metres tall, along with the National Museum of Tajikistan, Rudaki Park, and the Ismail Somoni Statue.
After lunch, drive to the Hissar district, 30 km west of Dushanbe, to see the 18th-century Hissar Fortress. Beside the fortress are two madrasahs from the 18th and 19th centuries and a mausoleum dating back to the 16th century.
Return to Dushanbe and visit the Gurminj Museum of Traditional Musical Instruments and the Asian Bazar (Mehrgon Market) to buy fresh products.
