Drive to Iskanderkul Lake and Hike to Fann Niagara
In the morning, you will travel from Dushanbe to Iskanderkul Lake, enjoying fantastic panoramic views through spectacular mountain scenery along the way. It is one of the most beautiful lakes in Tajikistan, set at an altitude of 2,195 m. Iskandarkul Lake was named after Alexander the Great, who allegedly visited the lake on his way from Central Asia to India.
After arriving at the lake, you will go for a walk along its shores, a great place to rest and take in the peaceful surroundings. Then, you will hike to see a waterfall called the "Fann Niagara," which falls from a height of 38 meters. You will also visit "Kuli Moron" (Lake of Snakes).
A minute's hike up from the lake brings you to a fantastic viewpoint over Iskanderkul Lake. After resting near the lake, you will head back to Dushanbe.
