Day 01

Arrival in Luxor and Dahabiya Embarkation

  • Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, Train Station, or Bus Station, you will be met by a representative and transferred to the Dahabiya.
  • Welcome onboard the Dahabiya, enjoy a welcome drink, and settle into your cabin.
  • Visit the Valley of the Kings and explore three royal tombs, as well as Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramesses III, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt.
  • Enjoy a full-board meal onboard the Dahabiya, including soft drinks.
  • Visit Karnak Temple in the afternoon, one of Egypt's most impressive temple complexes.
  • Back onboard, set sail and stop at a quiet spot along the Nile to escape the city noise for dinner.

Day 02

Optional Balloon Ride and Sailing to Esna

  • Take an optional hot air balloon ride to enjoy the sunrise over the Nile and Luxor's West Bank. You will have stunning aerial views of the temples and monuments for an additional charge.
  • After the balloon ride, return to the Dahabiya for breakfast.
  • After the morning tours, the Dahabiya will sail towards Esna.
  • Enjoy a walking tour through local Egyptian villages along the Nile banks. Interact with locals and observe their daily life.
  • Enjoy full-board meals onboard the Dahabiya.

Day 03

Kom Ombo Temple and Daraw Camel Market

  • Sail towards Kom Ombo after breakfast.
  • Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris.
  • A full-board meal will be served onboard as the Dahabiya continues sailing.
  • Take a tour of the Daraw Camel Market, where you can witness the traditional camel trade. Explore the local village and interact with the people.
  • You can relax and swim at one of the Golden Beaches of the Nile upon request.
  • The Dahabiya will sail to another quiet location, perfect for relaxation.

Aswan Sightseeing and Optional Experiences

  • Sail to Aswan while enjoying breakfast onboard.
  • Visit the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, which offers insight into ancient stone quarrying techniques.
  • Enjoy a full-board meal onboard.
  • Optional activities:
    • In the afternoon, take a motorboat tour to the Nubian Village through the islands of the First Cataract for $30 per person. Enjoy scenic views of the Nile and interact with the friendly Nubian community.
    • Visit Philae Temple during daylight for $25 per person, or experience the magical Sound and Light Show at Philae Temple in the evening for $55 per person.
  • Have dinner onboard the Dahabiya after the day's activities.

Departure from Aswan with Optional Abu Simbel Tour

  • Depart early in the morning for the Abu Simbel Temples on an optional tour. A private coach will transport you to the magnificent temples for $150 per person, including your guide and transportation, with return to Aswan by noon.
  • Optional tours in Aswan include the Nubian Museum, the Nobles' Tombs, Sehel Island, home to the famous Famine Stela, and Kalabsha Temple. Each site offers unique insights into Aswan's history and culture.
  • After breakfast onboard, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport, Train Station, or Bus Station for your departure.
