Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan
Arrive in Yerevan and meet your Armenian tour guide at the airport.
Transfer to the hotel.
Visit the temple of Surb Sargis, the memorial of the victims of the 1915 genocide – Tsitsernakaberd, Mother Armenia.
Tour Matenadaran - the repository of ancient books and rare manuscripts, Cascade Complex, visiting the museum "Cafesjian Center of Arts".
Do a city tour in Yerevan - Republic Square, Mashtots Avenue, Baghramian Ave., Presidential Palace, Parliament, University, Monuments to Vardan Mamikonian, David of Sasun, the Parliament, the Square of France, and the Square of Freedom.
Walk through night time Yerevan, spending time at the Republic Square, watching a fantastic program of singing fountains.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Lake Sevan
Have your breakfast and go on an excursion to Lake Sevan. The lake is called "the Pearl of Armenia". The Lake is of great beauty is located 2,000 meters above sea level and is one of the largest mountain lakes in the world.
Go to Astvatzatzin monastery on Sevan peninsula.
Eat dinner in the restaurant of the gifts of the lake.
Rest at the lake.
Tour Tsaxkadzor, the beautiful ski resort of Armenia, famous for its mountain forests and the cable cars.
Visit the Monastery Kecharis founded in XI-XIII centuries and the Museum of Orbeli brothers.
Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 3: City of Echmiadzin
Roam around the city of Echmiadzin spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Visit Echmiadzin Cathedral of IV BC that is included in the list UNESCO International Heritage of the World Monuments and the Church of St. Hripsimeh.
Visit the ruins of ancient Zvartnots temple.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Mount Ararat
Set out on a pilgrimage to the monastery of Khor Virap, where St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for spreading Christianity.
Get an unforgettable view of the Biblical Mount Ararat is opened.
Visit a wine plant in Areni village for tasting wines.
Continue the tour towards Noravank Abbey (XIII-XIV centuries) surrounded with fancy red rocks.
Eat lunch in a restaurant on the banks of the river.
Return to Yerevan.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Garni Village
Leave the rooms and make a trip to the village of Garni where there are a Pagan Church and fortress of Garni that was built in the 1st century.
Relish a national dinner in the house of a peasant in the village of Garni - Lavash bread, fruit vodka (mulberry, apricot).
Trip to the Cave Monastery Geghard of XIII-XIV centuries. The holy Kope has been kept there for centuries in the church that was used to pierce the body of Christ on the cross (Geghard means Spear). The now the Holy Spear is stored in Echmiadzin Museum.
Visit the museum world-renowned film director Sergei Parajanov in Yerevan. The museum exposition consists of more than 250 works - paintings, photographs, collages made by Parajanov.
