The itinerary

Day 01

Airport Transfer, City Tour, and Area Orientation

• On this day, we will meet at the international airport, either in San Jose or Liberia, and I will introduce myself as your tour guide. Instructions will be provided for the rest of the day, during which we will have a city tour and get to know the area.
• Depending on the arrival time, an activity can be scheduled.

Day 02

Río Celeste Hike and Sloth Sanctuary Experience

• Hiking to Río Celeste, located in Tenorio Volcano National Park in Costa Rica, is a truly magical experience. The hike offers a stunning blend of natural beauty and diverse ecosystems, culminating in the breathtaking sight of the sky-blue river. Here's what you can expect:
  • The trail experience
  • Waterfalls and viewing points
  • Additional attractions - After visiting the waterfall, the trail continues to other attractions, such as the natural hot springs and the "Los Teñideros" viewpoint. These provide great spots for rest and reflection amidst the natural splendour.

Day 03

ATV or UTV Adventure with Banana Boat Ride or Snorkeling

• This unique tour takes you off-road through rugged trails, river crossings, and visits to 2-3 secluded beaches. You'll also have the choice of a 20-minute banana boat ride around the famous Conchal Beach or a guided snorkeling tour.

Day 04

Sunset Sailing Cruise in Flamingo

• A sunset sail in Flamingo, Guanacaste, is a captivating experience that combines the beauty of Costa Rica's coastline with the magic of a tropical sunset. Most sunset sails depart in the late afternoon, typically between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, depending on the time of year and sunset. You'll board a comfortable sailboat or catamaran at Flamingo Beach, known for its stunning views and calm waters.

Day 05

Free Day to Relax by the Beach

• Relax at your hotel and enjoy the beaches around you.

Day 06

Optional Morning Tour and Return Transfer

• During this day, we will have an optional tour in the morning where you will be able to choose from three different options. When the tour has ended, we will have lunch together before we go back to the hotel or take the shuttle to the hotel in San Jose before the flight date.

• Swimwear: Bring multiple swimsuits for beach days and water activities.
• Sweater: Evenings can be cooler, especially in the higher elevations or during the rainy season.
