Delhi to Agra Day Trip with Taj Mahal and Agra Fort
07:00 Hrs: You will be picked up from your hotel in Delhi and driven to Agra by air-conditioned cab via the Yamuna Expressway. If you wish, you can stop at a midway point for tea or coffee. (225 kms / 3 hrs)
10:00 Hrs: Upon arrival in Agra, our tour executive will welcome you and introduce you to your tour guide, who will take you to Agra's famous attractions, starting with the Taj Mahal. This 17th-century monument of love was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It stands on the right bank of the River Yamuna.
12:00 Hrs: After visiting the Taj Mahal, you will proceed directly to Agra Fort, a magnificent red sandstone structure situated on the banks of the River Yamuna. Agra Fort was constructed by the third Mughal king, Akbar, between 1565 and 1573. It includes many beautiful palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal built by Shah Jahan, as well as audience halls like the Diwan-i-Khas and the stunning Nagina Mosque.
13:00 Hrs: After Agra Fort, you will be taken to one of Agra's best restaurants for a buffet lunch.
14:00 Hrs: After lunch, you can explore Agra's markets, which are famous for marble inlay craftwork and handicrafts.
15:00 Hrs: On the return drive to Delhi, the cab will stop at Mehtab Bagh for a riverside view of the Taj Mahal, offering an excellent opportunity for photography.
16:00 Hrs: You will then proceed back to Delhi, carrying with you an impression of the Taj and the sheer magic it exudes, making it an unforgettable and cherished memory.
20:00 Hrs: Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
