Al Naslaa Rock Exploration from Tabuk

• Meet our tour representative in Tabuk and travel to explore Al Naslaa rock. Al Naslaa rock is a landform located 50 kilometres south of the Tayma oasis in Saudi Arabia. It is a large sandstone rock split neatly down the middle into two parts, balanced on small pedestals. The overall shape of the rock is due to wind erosion and the chemical weathering made possible by the moist conditions on the protected underside of the rock. It is split in two by a joint. The rock is about 6 metres (20 ft) high and 9 metres (30 ft) wide, and its southeast face is covered with numerous petroglyphs.
