Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Londorossi Gate (2,070 meters)

   • Transfer from Arusha to Londorossi Gate, the starting point of the Lemosho Route.
   • Commence your trek through the rainforest, encountering diverse flora and fauna.
   • Camp at Londorossi Camp.

2. Day 2: Londorossi Camp to Shira Camp (3,600 meters)

   • Continue your ascent through the rainforest, transitioning to the heather zone.
   • Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
   • Camp at Shira Camp.

3. Day 3: Shira Camp to Shira Plateau (3,840 meters)

   • Explore the Shira Plateau, a vast, open area with stunning vistas.
   • Acclimatize to the higher altitude.
   • Camp at Shira Plateau.

4. Day 4: Shira Plateau to Lava Tower (4,640 meters)

   • Begin your ascent to Lava Tower, passing through the alpine desert zone
   • Enjoy breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro's summit.
   • Camp at Lava Tower.

5. Day 5: Lava Tower to Barranco Camp (3,900 meters)

   • Descend to Barranco Camp, passing through the Great Barranco Valley.
   • Experience the unique geological formations of the valley.
   • Camp at Barranco Camp.

6. Day 6: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (4,028 meters)

   • Ascend to Karanga Camp, passing through the Karanga Valley.
   • Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
   • Camp at Karanga Camp.

7. Day 7: Karanga Camp to Summit (5,895 meters) and Descent to Mweka Gate

   • Begin your final push to the summit, reaching Uhuru Peak at dawn.
   • Descend via the Mweka Route, passing through various ecological zones.
   • Celebrate your achievement at Mweka Gate and transfer back to Arusha.
