The itinerary

Day 01

Relaxed Nature Walk at Hacienda Barú

• After meeting you at your hotel, Airbnb, house, or hostel, you can drive your own vehicle, or we can pick you up. From there, we will drive 30 minutes south of Quepos.
• Once we arrive, the tour guide will show you where the bathrooms are.
• After gathering together, we will begin our walk through the rainforest for 2 to 3 hours. The trails are flat and shady, and the tour guide will carry a spotting scope, making it easier for all our customers to see the amazing animals in the rainforest.
• On our way back, after we finish the walk, the tour guide can suggest some good restaurants where customers can stop and enjoy a Costa Rican meal.

What to bring

• Depending on the time of year, make sure you bring water, mosquito repellent, snacks, tennis shoes or hiking shoes, and one extra outfit so you can change your clothes afterwards, as you may be sweating.
• Bring your iPhone or smartphone so you can take pictures through the telescope. Just give the phone to the guide, and he will do it for you.
• At the place where we do our tours, make sure you bring your medication if needed. Bring anything else you think is necessary for the tour.
