Day 01

Belize Rainforest Cave Tubing and Zip-Lining Adventure

  • Cave-tubing is a half-day tour that starts around 8:00 AM, and you can return to town around 2:00 PM.

  • The drive is about 1.5 hours from San Ignacio Town.

  • We travel on the George Price Highway, passing Belmopan and heading towards Belize City.

  • We then turn off onto a dirt road at mile 37 and continue for about 7 miles before reaching the parking area, where restrooms and changing rooms are available.

  • After gearing up with our life jackets and tubes, we walk a short distance to reach the river.

  • We then cross the river and hike for about 45 minutes through a broad-leaf, sub-tropical forest while learning about Mayan medicinal plants and their uses.

  • We go through 4 caves - 2 dry caves and 2 wet caves - on our tour.

  • Relax and lie back on your tube as you feel the coolness of the currents of the river.

  • Immerse yourself as our guide points out various formations within the cave and shares his knowledge of the cave's history.

  • Enjoy over 2,700 feet of zip-line runs and platforms that take you over and through the jungle.
