Day 01

Caracol, Rio Frio Cave and Rio On Pools Adventure

Depart from San Ignacio at 7:00 AM and return at 5:00 PM.
This tour takes you through two different types of ecosystems.
The drive to Caracol takes about 2.5 hours from San Ignacio along the Cristo Rey Road, passing through Cristo Rey Village and San Antonio Village.
On the way back, enjoy stops at Rio Frio Cave for a short hike into the dry cave, and Rio On Pools, a natural cascading pool with a 5ft fall for a shoulder and back massage.
