12-Day Southern Africa Safari and Mozambique Island Adventure

• Depart from Johannesburg.
• This tour follows the N12 through the Panorama Route, where we visit the Three Rondavels, Burke's Luck Potholes, and God's Window.
• Tonight, we spend our first night in the small historic town of Hazyview.

• Experience the Gorge Swing before heading to the famous Kruger National Park. From entry until the day we depart, this will be a nature-filled experience with game drives, nature walks, and dining in the bush.
• Various restaurant meals and a braai prepared by our crew are options to enhance your ultimate bush experience.
• Spend the second night of the tour in one of the park's most visited camps, where we will have a chance to unpack and later enjoy a sunset drive.

• Early morning nature walks, as well as half-day and full-day game drives, provide a full scope of Kruger's animal kingdom and ambience.
• Enjoy our third and last night in the park around a good bonfire with ethnic storytelling.

• Today, we drive to Eswatini, a small country in the south of Africa.
• Enjoy one more game drive before crossing over to Eswatini.
• We make a short shopping stop for snacks and refreshments.
• We also visit the candle factory.

• Today, we drive to Mozambique, where our first night will be in Maputo.
• We will need to leave early in the morning, as border crossings here can be very relaxed and not always time-conscious.
• There will be a chance to have lunch and dinner in one of the local restaurants, where you can enjoy local Tsonga and Portuguese dishes, and perhaps a fusion of both.

• On this day, we drive to Praia Do Tofo. This is a lengthy drive compared with the one from Eswatini to Maputo.
• We travel through some rough roads filled with potholes and very narrow stretches where we must give fellow drivers the right of way. Following distances can be subjective and mostly unlawful, but friendly nonetheless.
• Here, we get to experience the famous Ocean Safari by a private company.
• We then enjoy a seafood dinner in a local restaurant, with a rich choice of prime catch such as lobster, crab, and more.

• On this day, we drive to Vilankulos, a town in eastern Mozambique rich with warm sandy beaches and friendly locals.
• We will have a chance to see the town and buy some souvenirs before preparing for the island visit the following day. You can also walk on the warm beach alone or with loved ones.
• We then visit a local bar in the evening after dinner.

• On this day, we sail to the famous Bazaruto Island for a sea excursion filled with:
• Ocean safari
• Ferry
• Sand walking
• Snorkelling
• Seafood experience
• Camping or accommodated stay

• On this day, we explore the famous Archipelago islands and enjoy a guided tour over the dunes.
• We also experience a mid-afternoon siesta while cruising back to our accommodation, where we will have a bonfire in the heart of nature.
• Local guides will cook a fusion of Portuguese and Tsonga meals for us before sharing history and cultural practices as we enjoy the flaming bonfire with marshmallows and corn roasted directly on the fire.

• On this day, we depart the island by ferry and head back to Vilankulos, where we will have our last day in the east before continuing back to Maputo.
• We drive the same route back via Praia Do Tofo and Xai Xai.
• As this is a lengthy drive, we will settle into our accommodation and rest before heading out for dinner in one of the restaurants.

• On this day, we drive to Kruger National Park for one more game drive in the wild, followed by time to relax and enjoy a bushfire experience.
• We will have dinner in our camp, prepared by our guide over firewood. A briefing will be held after dinner about the following day, as this will be our last night on the tour.
• Lunch will be served on the way between Mozambique and Kruger National Park. There will also be a couple of stretch stops and sightseeing opportunities.

• On this day, we drive back to Johannesburg using the Panorama Route. Our drop-off will be at the accommodation of your choice unless you would prefer to take a flight immediately on arrival.
