Day 01

Meet at Freedom Square

  • Meet your tour guide at Liberty (Freedom) Square in Tbilisi.
  • We will meet in front of the Assembly building, then proceed towards Old Tbilisi between the Gryphon statues and continue the tour to the following places.

Day 02

Walk into Old Tbilisi via Baratashvili Street

  • From Freedom Square, we will enter Old Tbilisi.
  • First, we will see Berikaoba and the "Meezove" statue as we approach the Gabriadze Theatre.

Day 03

Gabriadze Theatre and Clock Tower

  • This is the first puppet theatre in Tbilisi, built in 1981 by Rezo Gabriadze. He created the tower in 2010, making it the face of Old Tbilisi.

Day 04

Visit Anchiskhati Basilica

  • This is the oldest church in Tbilisi and dates back to the 6th century.

Cross the Peace Bridge

  • This glass bridge, built in 2010, has become one of the symbols of Tbilisi and connects old and new Tbilisi. Crossing it feels like moving through time from the old part of the city to the new one.

Day 06

Cable Car to Narikala Fortress and Mother of Georgia

  • By cable car, we will visit Narikala Fortress, which overlooks Tbilisi. The first mention of this name dates from the 4th century, although some archaeologists and historians believe the fortress may have existed even earlier. The current fortress walls come from different periods, beginning in the 4th century, though most parts date from the 16th-17th century.

Explore Abanotubani

  • This oldest hot spring district is where natural hot sulphuric water emerges from the ground, and you can see numerous old bathhouses.

Day 08

See Legvtakhevi Waterfall

Legvtakhevi means fig ravine, as many fig gardens once stood on top of the cliffs. Here, you will admire centuries-old wooden balcony houses, typical of Old Tbilisi and representative of its history.

Day 09

Visit Meidan Bazaar

  • This was the most vibrant and busy place during the Silk Road, where merchants came to sell or buy their merchandise, stay for a while, and then continue towards the East.

Tour End in Freedom Square or Abanotubani

  • We will finish the tour at Freedom Square or Abanotubani.
