The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Victoria Falls and Optional Activities

  • This is the first day of the tour. Clients can enjoy other activities of interest as part of our meet and greet, including:
    • Lion walk
    • Village visit
    • Devil's Pool
    • Catch 'n Release fishing, etc.
  • Have dinner at the Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel, while lunch can be enjoyed at the activity venues.

Day 02

Drive to Kasane and Chobe River Sunset Cruise

  • On this day, we drive 80 km to Kasane, a town in the northwest of Botswana bordering Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
  • On arrival, settle into our accommodation and get ready for a sunset cruise on the Chobe River.

Day 03

Chobe River Park Game Drive

  • On this day, enjoy an early morning game drive along Chobe River Park.
  • There will be lunch packs, as this drive may continue well past lunchtime.
  • If the drive takes less time than anticipated due to bad weather, poor health, or other reasons, lunch will be available at the accommodation.
  • Rest for the remainder of the day in Botswana.
  • Have dinner in the early evening to give yourself a chance to prepare for the long drive the following day.

Day 04

Drive to Maun and Delta Briefing

  • On this day, drive to Maun, where we will settle into our accommodation and prepare all equipment and food parcels for the delta.
  • We will have a briefing about the following day, as it is an eventful one in which we will first travel by truck and then by canoes, also known as mokoro. This is a fun-filled activity that one needs to try at least once.

Stay at shower-less, bath-less accommodation for at least two nights. However, temporary showers can be arranged.

Day 05

Into the Delta by Truck and Mokoro

  • On this day, we have a sunrise bush walk led by our site guide through the swamps.
  • We drive to the Delta using 2 modes of transport: trucks and canoes.
  • Mosquito repellents and buck repellents are a must, as we will be experiencing nature first-hand.
  • We will have an opportunity to see hippopotamuses in their natural habitat.

Day 06

Bush Festival with Cultural Dances and Storytelling

  • On this day, we spend a second day in the swamps, enjoying nature in the bush.
  • We then relax for the rest of the day.
  • Enjoy yet more cultural dances and storytelling. This is also named the "Bush Festival".

Day 07

Drive to Gantsi and Village Cultural Visit

  • On this day, we drive to a small town called Gantsi, named after a fly plague that once hit the area.
  • We will have lunch in one of the restaurants along the road or have sandwiches prepared by our guide.
  • Check in and drive to a village where the indigenous people will perform traditional dances and tell stories of ancient living that directed modern living.

Day 08

Drive to Windhoek and Short City Tour

  • On this day, we drive to Windhoek, the capital of Namibia.
  • En route, we witness different cultures and have lunch in one of the towns.
  • As we reach Windhoek, we will head to our accommodation and refresh.
  • We will have a short city tour and learn about the country's history, people, and wars.
  • Later that evening, we will have dinner at one of the restaurants famous for its ancient cuisine, game meat, and traditional meals.

Day 09

Drive to Etosha National Park and Sunset Game Drive

  • On this day, we will drive to Etosha National Park, which is northwest of Usakos.
  • Here, we will go through Outjo, where we will have lunch before proceeding to the national park.
  • Since this is a lengthy drive, we will settle into our accommodation before heading out on a sunset game drive.
  • We will then have dinner in one of the restaurants or enjoy a braai prepared by our guide.

Day 10

Etosha Wildlife Encounter

  • On this day, we have a sunrise game drive that will last until lunchtime, during which we will also enjoy other camps in the park.
  • We will then return to our accommodation or campsite to relax or swim in the park's swimming pool.
  • On our drives, we have a chance to see:
    • Impalas
    • Springboks
    • Leopards
    • Cheetahs
    • Lions
    • Elephants
    • Hyenas
    • Buffalos, etc.

Day 11

Drive to Usakos and Sunset at Spitzkoppe

  • On this day, we drive to Usakos, a small town north of Swakopmund.
  • We will spend a night in Spitzkoppe, a mountain formed in a head shape, where campers will have the privilege of erecting their tents and lodge guests will be accommodated in beds.
  • We later drive to the mountain and watch the sunset from the top for those who can climb.

Day 12

Drive to Swakopmund via Henties Bay

  • On this day, we drive to Swakopmund through the desert.
  • We have a short stop in Henties Bay, where we can view the shipwrecks and salt factories.
  • We will have lunch in one of the restaurants in Swakopmund.
  • Since this is a long drive, we will relax before dinner.

Day 13

Swakopmund Adventure Activities

  • On this day, we continue with activities of interest such as:
    • Quad biking
    • Sandboarding
    • Desert walk
    • Skydiving

Day 14

Drive to Sossusvlei and Desert Activities

  • On this day, we drive to Sossusvlei. The roads are mainly gravel and very uneven.
  • On arrival, we will unpack and prepare for our two nights' accommodation with desert activities, including:
    • Duwisib Castle
    • Naukluft
    • Olive Trail
    • Sesriem Canyon
    • Scenic flights

Day 15

Sossusvlei Adventure Day

  • On this day, we continue with the remainder of the activities such as:
    • Dune 45
    • Deadvlei
    • Hot air balloon

Day 16

Drive to Mariental and Hardap Dam Resort

  • On this day, we drive to Mariental, a small town named after the first settler farmer's wife.
  • We get to experience water sports at the Hardap Dam Resort.
  • In good weather and traffic conditions, we get to visit game parks that are at least 30 km away from town.

Day 17

Drive to Hobas and Fish River Canyon Sunset

  • On this day, we drive to Hobas, an accommodation stop in an arid Namibian landscape.
  • In good weather and with an early departure, we will pass by the Ai-Ais Hot Springs for lunch before proceeding to our accommodation.
  • We will have an afternoon drive to the Fish River Canyon viewpoint to enjoy a spectacular sunset and relaxation.
  • Have dinner in one of the bush restaurants or enjoy a meal cooked by our cook guide.

Day 18

Hot Springs Relaxation and Fish River Canyon Viewpoint

  • On this day, we relax on a warm day in the hot springs. We will have an afternoon drive to the Fish River Canyon viewpoint to enjoy a spectacular sunset and relaxation.
  • We will have dinner in one of the bush restaurants or have it cooked by our cook guide.

Day 19

Drive to Orange River

  • On this day, we drive to Orange River, which forms the border between South Africa and Namibia.
  • This is where we will enjoy various activities, such as river rafting on the Orange River and an early morning bush walk.
  • This stop also allows us to relax after the bumpy roads of Namibia.

Day 20

Drive to Springbok

  • On this day, we drive to Springbok, where we will have our last day in the natural spaces.
  • We will have a chance to visit historical places when time allows.

Day 21

Drive to Cape Town and Tour Farewell

  • On this day, we drive to Cape Town (Mother City), where our tour ends.
  • With good travel time, we will enjoy the following:
    • Quad biking in the dunes
    • Robben Island
    • Table Mountain
    • Cape Point
    • Signal Hill
    • Open-top bus city tour

We will have dinner in one of the restaurants along the famous Long Street to close off and say our farewells.
