3-Day Omo Valley Tribal Tour from Jinka with Mursi and Dassanech

• On arrival at Jinka Airport, drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi village. The Mursi are one of the exotic ethnic groups in Ethiopia. They live in very low huts made of straw leaves. The women like to wear terra cotta on their enormously stretched lower lips and ear lobes.
• Drive back to Jinka and then continue to the town of Turmi.
• Later, visit the Hamer tribes.

Overnight in Turmi Lodge, Turmi, or similar.

• After an early breakfast, take an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanech people, the "people of the Delta," who live on the northern shore of Lake Turkana.
• Visit the area and drive back toward Jinka, stopping at the markets of Dimeka to see around four different peoples: Hamer, Tsemay, Ari, and Kara.
• Later, after spending plenty of time at the markets, continue driving to Jinka, stopping at the wonderful villages of the Tsemay.

Overnight in Nassau.

• After breakfast, drive to the town of Jinka.
• After lunch, visit the Ari people, the largest population in the Lower Omo Valley. The women, who wear skirts made from the banana-like tree called Enset, are experts in pottery.
• Later, you will be transferred to Jinka Airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
• In the evening, attend a folkloric dinner where you will have a chance to taste several national dishes and watch dances of the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. A traditional coffee ceremony will also be served.
• Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
