Day 01

A Taste of Roatán in Coxen Hole and West End

• You will discover and enjoy some of Roatán's most visited landmarks and local attractions before making stops in search of tasty delicacies created in local eateries on the island, including the Chocolate and Rum Cake Factory, as well as a local restaurant for a mouth-watering light lunch.
• Once picked up from your cruise terminal, you will take a short drive to the heart of downtown Coxen Hole, where you will step out and walk through the busy local market to see some of the town's old landmarks and get a feel for what Roatán is all about.
• You'll also make other stops for shopping and photo opportunities.
• After enjoying your local tour, a stop will be made at Jungle Top Restaurant for your local lunch.
• After lunch and your city tour, you can walk around West End Village and visit the chocolate and rum factory.

Know before you go

• The tour starts two hours after the ship docks.
• If your ship is docked at the Mahogany Bay Cruise Port, walk off and through the shopping area, passing the water fountains to the red-top building on the right. It is the white taxi terminal, and there is a walking corridor at the end of the hall. Make a left on the pavement and walk up and over the hill through the big green gate. On the other side, down the hill, a representative will be there expecting you one to two hours after your ship arrives, with a warm welcome and a smile, ready to make your day memorable. Look for the Roatan Anderson Tours sign. If you are in a wheelchair or on a scooter, you can get a taxi to bring you over the hill for an additional $2. Note: Local independent drivers and guides may try to sell you a tour. Tell them you have booked with us, and they will leave you alone.
• After your excursion, full of excitement, adrenaline, and fun, we will drive you back over the hill inside the gate. If your ship is docked at the Town Center Port of Roatan, down in Coxen Hole, it is much easier to find us once you walk off your ship. Just walk straight out past all the shops, then make a right. Continue through the terminal past the many tour kiosks, making a slight left to the main street. Once exiting Gate #1, look across the street for the Roatan Anderson Tours sign. A representative will be waiting for you one to two hours after the ship's arrival. If you make friends on board or have any family members who are not booked with us but want to tag along, that is not a problem. We will accommodate them with you. Once outside, if you have trouble locating us, please ask the security guard or any other local tour associate for the Roatan Anderson Tours sign.
