The itinerary

Day 01

Fly to Arba Minch and Visit the Dorze Villages

Fly from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch.
Upon arrival in Arba Minch, drive to the Dorze village, set high in the Gughe Mountains, where you will see the traditional Dorze people.

Overnight at a hotel.

Day 02

Lake Chamo Boat Trip, Konso, Bana, and Turmi

After breakfast, head out for a boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit the crocodile market. This is a unique opportunity to see crocodiles, hippos, and birds in their natural habitat.
After the boat trip, embark on a scenic drive to Turmi. En route, stop at Konso village, known for its UNESCO-listed terracing and high-quality coffee.
Continue your journey towards Turmi and visit Bana village. The Bana people are known for their distinctive clay caps adorned with feathers.
Then proceed to Turmi, where the Hamer tribes live.

Day 03

Visit Omorate, the Dassanech, and the Ari People

After breakfast, take an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanech people, the 'people of the Delta,' who live on the northern shore of Lake Turkana.
Visit the area and drive back to Turmi for lunch, then continue to Jinka.
Then transfer to meet the Ari people, the largest population in the lower Omo Valley. The women wear skirts made from the banana-like tree called Enset and are experts in pottery.

Day 04

Mursi Village Excursion and Return to Addis Ababa

Take a day excursion to Mago National Park from Jinka to visit the Mursi village. The Mursi are one of the exotic ethnic groups in Ethiopia. They live in very low huts made of straw leaves. The women like to wear terra cotta on their enormously stretched lower lips and ear lobes.
Drive back to Jinka for lunch.
In the evening, attend a folkloric dinner where you can taste several national dishes and watch dances from various ethnic groups in Ethiopia. A traditional coffee ceremony will also be served.
Later, transfer to Jinka Airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
