The itinerary

Day 01

Entebbe Arrival and Drive to Bwindi

The journey begins at Entebbe International Airport, followed by a drive from Kampala to Bwindi right after the briefing.
Stop at the Uganda Equator in Masaka for a photo moment and the Equator experiment, where you will have the chance to stand with one foot in the Southern Hemisphere and the other in the Northern Hemisphere.
Have lunch at a hotel in one of the cities along the way.
As the drive continues, take in the magical landscapes and, where necessary, stop at points of interest.
Check in to the lodge and receive a short briefing about the lodge and the next day's programme.

Day 02

Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Walk

This day begins with an early breakfast at the lodge and a short drive (3-5 minutes) to the park headquarters inside the park for a briefing.
The trekking begins at the headquarters, led by professional ranger guides. The journey usually takes about one hour; however, it depends on the gorillas' location, as this varies daily. While walking through the thick forest, keep your eyes up and remain quiet, as you may see other wildlife species such as baboons, monkeys, duikers, and birds.
After reaching the gorillas, you can stand as close as one metre away and take outstanding photos.
Receive your certificate after the trekking concludes and return to your lodge for lunch.
After relaxing your body and mind for 2 hours in the jungle, embark on a community walk and meet the Batwa, Uganda's oldest tribe, who lived in the jungle with gorillas. Led by an experienced site guide, this walk is a must-do on a gorilla safari to experience the beautiful stories of these people and learn about their culture. Enjoy their traditional entertainment, where you can participate, take photos and videos, and ask questions.
Return to your lodge for dinner and your last night in Bwindi.
