Day 01

Arrival in Hanoi

  • Welcome to Hanoi. You will be collected by our local driver at Noi Bai International Airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14:00 (2 PM) onwards.
  • The balance of the day is at your leisure.

Day 02

Full-Day Hanoi City Tour

  • Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and has preserved and witnessed more than 1,000 years of history. That is why this place is such a solemn ancient city. You will see historic architecture around Hanoi, such as Trấn Quốc Pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, the Vietnam Ethnology Museum or Vietnamese Women's Museum, the Temple of Literature, and Hỏa Lò Prison. Together, they create an ancient and historic city. Coming to Hanoi, you will see remarkable architectural works and immerse yourself in the unique culture here.
  • 8h00 - 8h30: Our tour guide and limousine car will pick you up at your hotel and begin your discovery of Hanoi City.
  • 08h45: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Vietnam's great father, Uncle Ho. You will have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, then walk around the garden to see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969.
  • Then visit One Pillar Pagoda, which worships the Goddess of Mercy - it is one of the most unique pagodas in the world.
  • Please dress modestly by covering your shoulders to your knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, pagodas, and similar sites.
  • Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. However, you can still take pictures of the Mausoleum and visit the surrounding area. Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is also closed for at least two months each year (15th June - 15th August) for annual maintenance.
  • 10h15: Visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of the 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.
  • Special note: We will visit the Vietnamese Women's Museum instead of the Vietnam Ethnology Museum when the latter is closed on Mondays.
  • 12h30 - 12h45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You will have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. Vegetarian food is available.
  • 13h30: Visit Trấn Quốc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century.
  • 14h30: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam. The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam. It was founded in 1070.
  • 15h30: Visit Hỏa Lò Prison, built by the French from 1886 to 1901, when Vietnam was still part of French Indochina. The French called the prison Maison Centrale. It was known as "A Hell on Earth," and today it serves as a war museum for those who want to understand more about the Vietnamese struggle against France.
  • 16h30: Our limousine car will take you back to the hotel. We finish the trip.

Optional activities can be arranged upon request for an additional fee:

  • Option 1: Cyclo ride for 45 minutes (5 USD/person) around Hanoi Old Quarter after visiting Hỏa Lò Prison.
  • Option 2: Water Puppet Show for 50 minutes (5 USD/person). Recommended times: 16h10 or 17h20.
  • Option 3: Cyclo ride for 45 minutes and Water Puppet Show for 50 minutes (10 USD/person). Recommended Water Puppet Show times: 17h20 or 18h30.

Day 03

Ninh Bình, Hoa Lư and Tràng An Excursion

  • 7h00: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We will take you to Ninh Bình Province, about 120 km from Hanoi.
  • 9h00: Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax.
  • 10h30: The first destination on this trip is Hoa Lư, the ancient capital. This was the first capital of Vietnam. When you visit Hoa Lư, you will learn why the capital moved to Hanoi. You will be impressed by the outstanding architecture when entering the temples of King Đinh and King Lê, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17th century. Try to feel the ancient atmosphere in Hoa Lư, the ancient capital.
  • 12h30: At noon, our car and guide will take you to lunch.
  • 13h30 - 14h00: Visit Tràng An, which UNESCO recognized as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Tràng An has a beautiful tunnel cave system, so Kong's movie crew chose this place for the 2016 film "Skull Island." Take a boat trip through Tràng An to see the fantastic beauty of this landscape, with many caves such as Sang Cave (Light Cave), Tối Cave (Dark Cave), and Nấu Rượu Cave (Cooking Wine Cave), along with the green river and natural scenery.
  • 17h30: Return to Hanoi.
  • 19h30: Arrive in Hanoi and get dropped off at the hotel. The trip ends.

Day 04

Hạ Long Bay Day Cruise

  • Hạ Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular travel destination in Quảng Ninh Province, Vietnam. It is a beautiful natural wonder near the Chinese border in northern Vietnam. The bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sq km.
  • "Do not hesitate to let Hạ Long Bay be the last destination, because it saves the best for last, dears."
  • 7h30 - 08h00: Our tour guide will pick you up at your Hanoi Old Quarter hotel, then depart for Hạ Long Bay by expressway transfer.
  • 10h30: Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax.
  • 12h00 - 12h30: Arrive at Tuần Châu Harbor. Welcome to Cozy Bay Premium Cruise. We will take you on a 5-6 hour journey via a day-sleeper boat cruise route, renowned for its striking passages, uninhabited islets, and outcrops that locals have given imaginative names based on their shapes, while you enjoy lunch on board.
  • 14h00: Visit Surprising Cave to see many stalagmites and stalactites in different shapes resembling sea life.
  • 15h00: Visit Titop Island, which has a sandy beach and a towering limestone mountain with an excellent backdrop of the bay. Climb up Titop Peak for a panoramic view of this bay-like paradise.
  • 16h00: Then go kayaking or take a bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon.
  • 17h00 - 17h30: Cruise back to Tuần Châu Harbour. There is plenty of time to enjoy a sunset party with tea and cakes, sunbathe on the upper deck with music, and enjoy the fun of group touring among world-iconic natural scenery.
  • 18h00 - 18h30: We get on the bus back to Hanoi by expressway and have a short break for 20-30 minutes.
  • 21h00 - 21h30: Arrive at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Trip ends.

  • Swimming at Titop Island may be possible depending on the season. We make sure that it is a full itinerary for you.

Departure from Hanoi
