2-Day Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Safari with Crater Game Drives

After breakfast and a safari briefing, be picked up from your hotel in Arusha city and drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a packed lunch for game drives. The forest begins after crossing the park gate. Much of the park is covered by the lake, and it lies along the base of the Great Rift Valley, with a hot spring to the west of the park. The park is home to tree-climbing lions, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, troops of baboons, as well as flamingos, ostriches, Egyptian geese, and more.

After a picnic lunch, proceed with afternoon game drives.

In the late afternoon, drive to the lodge, hotel, or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart from the lodge for Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. The crater is home to black rhino, cheetah, lion, leopard, elephant, wildebeest, zebra, and birds such as ostrich, vultures, and flamingos at the crater's soda lake.

After lunch, proceed with afternoon game viewing while ascending the crater.

Head back to Arusha and, upon arrival before dark, be dropped off at your hotel.
