Itinerary

1. Kazbegi Tour

   • 9:00 AM – Your exciting day begins as you depart from Tbilisi at 9:00 AM. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive through the Georgian countryside.
   • 10:00 AM – Your first stop is the breathtaking Zhinvali Water Reservoir. Known for its stunning turquoise waters, this artificial lake is surrounded by lush green hills. Take a moment to soak in the beauty and capture some photographs.
   • 10:45 AM – Next, you will visit the historic Ananuri Castle. This fortress, dating back to the 16th century, offers a glimpse into Georgia’s rich past. Explore the ancient towers, churches, and the picturesque reservoir views from the castle grounds.
   • 11:45 AM – Visit the confluence of the Black and White Aragvi rivers. Here, you will witness the striking natural phenomenon where the Black Aragvi's dark waters meet the White Aragvi's lighter waters, creating a mesmerizing contrast.
   • 12:30 PM – Arrive in Pasanauri, a charming village known for its delicious Georgian cuisine. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant (cost not included), where you can try traditional dishes such as khinkali (Georgian dumplings).
   • 1:30 PM – Continue your journey to Gudauri, a renowned ski resort. Stop at the Gudauri View Point to marvel at the panoramic vistas of the Caucasus Mountains. This spot is perfect for photos and taking in the fresh mountain air.
   • 2:30 PM – Arrive in Stepantsminda, the heart of the Kazbegi municipality. This small town, nestled at the foot of Mount Kazbek, is a gateway to some of Georgia’s most spectacular natural attractions.
   • 3:00 PM – Visit the Gergeti Trinity Church. Perched on a hilltop with Mount Kazbek as its backdrop, the church offers one of the most iconic views in Georgia. For an additional 20 GEL, take a jeep ride up to the church, saving you a steep hike and allowing you more time to explore.
   • 4:30 PM – After exploring Gergeti Trinity Church, begin your journey back to Tbilisi. Reflect on the day’s adventures and enjoy the scenic drive back. (20 Gel for jeep)
   • 7:00 PM – Arrive in Tbilisi by early evening, concluding your memorable day tour.
