Day 1: Morondava to Kirindy Forest
Start early from your accommodation or Morondava Airport.
Drive approximately 2.5 hours to Kirindy Forest Reserve.
On the way, stop for photos at the Avenue of the Baobabs, Hollow Baobabs, and the Sacred Baobab.
Check in at your hotel or lodge near Kirindy upon arrival.
Late afternoon or early evening guided night walk in Kirindy Forest to see nocturnal wildlife such as lemurs, fossa, chameleons, and possibly the giant jumping rat.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning walk in Kirindy Forest and return to Morondava
Early morning guided walk in the forest to explore the diverse flora and fauna in daylight, offering opportunities to see different lemurs and birds.
Breakfast at the lodge.
Continue exploring or relaxing at the reserve.
Lunch at or near the reserve.
Drive back to Morondava, optionally stopping again at Baobab sites such as Baobabs in Love and Baobab avenu sun set
