The itinerary

Day 01

Fathala Safari and Sine Saloum Bird Dormitory Cruise

Take the ferry across to the north bank of The Gambia towards the Senegalese border.
Arrive at Fathala Nature Reserve, where you can spot giraffes, rhinos, zebras, and more.
Enjoy an optional Lion Walk (EUR 47.00 per person).
In the late afternoon, take a boat trip to the Sine Saloum Delta bird dormitory.

Day 02

Wassu Stone Circles and River Gambia National Park Cruise

Visit the UNESCO-listed Wassu Stone Circles.
Board a boat for a 2-hour cruise to River Gambia National Park.
Upon arrival, enjoy wildlife sightings, including hippos, crocodiles, and chimpanzees.
Lunch at Kairo Garden.

Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 03

Island Heritage Walk and Baobolong Wetland Creek Crawl

After breakfast, explore the historical island sites on foot.
Visit local family compounds and a 'Lumo' market.
Lunch at Tendaba Camp.
In the afternoon, enjoy a creek crawl to Baobolong Wetland Reserve. You might come across the African finfoot, Pel's fishing owl, white-backed night herons, crocodiles, or clawless otters.
