Go on a 5-day trek to tackle the fastest route to Point Lenana Summit from Nairobi. Ascend the peak in only 4 days and stay in bunkhouses at each camp, so a tent is not necessary. Follow the route past the Park Headquarters and up the ridge between the Northern and Southern Naro Moru Rivers, with forest, moorland, and high-altitude mountain scenery along the way.

Day by day
Get picked up from the hotel and transfer to Naro Moru.
Arrive in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, sort out your gear and enjoy a nature walk in preparation for the big day.
Dinner and overnight at a mountain lodge or bunkhouse.
Transfer to Naro Moru Park Gate for registration, where the hike starts at 2,600 m.
From the gate, keep to the park track, which follows the crest of a broad ridge between the Northern and Southern Naro Moru valleys. The going is easy, and it is a pleasant walk through the forest.
About two-thirds of the way up, after the bridge, enjoy a good view of the Northern Naro Moru Valley.
End today's trek at Met Station, 3,000 m.
Dinner and overnight rest.
Head uphill on the track and pass the station after about half an hour.
Reach the end of the forest belt and enter the moorland. Here, the vertical bog conditions range from damp to glutinous depending on when it last rained.
Continue to a fork overlooking Teleki Valley and proceed to Mackinders Camp at 4,200 m.
Dinner and overnight at Mackinders Camp.
Start from Mackinders Camp and make your way to Point Lenana.
Stop for some time to enjoy the breathtaking views.
Head back to Met Station.
After breakfast, descend through the rainforest for 9 km to Naro Moru Park Gate at 2,600 m.
Connect with the transport back to Nairobi.
