After breakfast, depart from Nairobi for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Then climb the western wall as you enter Hemmingway's country, the "Serengeti Plains".
Arrive at the Masai Mara Game Reserve in time for lunch.
Set out on afternoon game drives with your Masai Mara safari guide/driver.
Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.
Spend a full day game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black-maned lions, leopards, and cheetahs, and it also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. This park is perhaps one of the most prolific in the world and is definitely among the best game parks for close wildlife viewing.
