Day 01

Banjul Museum, Albert Market, Bakau and Serekunda

• Our morning excursion starts with a visit to the island city of Banjul, formerly called Barthurst, to see the National Museum, where we learn about the history, pre-history, culture, fauna, flora, and traditional instruments.
• Continue our drive toward Albert Market in Banjul, where the hustle and bustle of the people can be seen.
• Then, drive around the city before heading out to Bakau, where we will have a chance to see Charlie and the rest of the crocodiles at Katchically Crocodile Pool.
• The final stop will be in Serekunda, the most densely populated town in The Gambia, to see the famous batik and tie-dye factory in the country.
