Day 01

Day 1: Great Barrier Reef Cruise

• 7:30 am: Depart from your Queensland cruise ship port or hotel foyer.
• Transfer to Cairns Wharf.
• Cruise in comfort and style to the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 2: Ancient Rainforest Discovery

• 7:30 am: Depart from your accommodation.

Know before you go

• While this is advertised as a private tour, the day spent on the reef will be on a 152-foot-long catamaran with at least 30-40 other tourists.
• We have selected the best companies and operators, who are also small local family operations.
• If the wind is forecast to be over 15 knots, it may be enough to make you feel slightly motion-sick on the way out to the reef and on the way back. Taking motion sickness tablets at least 2 hours before you set sail is recommended.
• Seasickness tablets are available at a personal cost.
